From working with the biggest actors of the industry to launching young talent in films, from making high budget blockbusters to youth oriented films, Guddu Dhanoa has held his own position, having Produced and Directed over 26 films since he started out. Having started his career as Production Manager with Sunny Deol’s debut film Betaab (1983), he went on to do Arjun (1985), Sitamgar (1985), Yateem (1988) and Ghayal (1990). Guddu Dhanoa soon launched his own Production Company ‘Bhagwan Chitra Mandir’. His first film as Producer was Mera Lahoo(1987) starring Govinda and Kimi Katkar and he followed it up with Gola Baroda (1989). In 1992 he made it big in Bollywood by Producing Deewana starring Rishi Kapoor, Shahrukh Khan and Divya Bharti. This was Shahrukh Khan’s launch film. The movie was a super hit and so was its music by Nadeem Shravan.
